Chapter Thin Cities 5
The sophisticated city of Octavia is widely known as a “spider-web city”. It’s located above a precipice between two steep mountains. Two crests with ropes and chains are hung over the void and the city is bound to it, hanging below.

Houses are made like sacks, terraces look like gondolas, hammocks are instead of benches, gas jets hover over ropes-streets, even rings for children’s games are hung in the air. To move around people use little wooden ties and cable cars.
Before you go into the city you are obliged to take a special course on rope walking. It's for the sake of your safety. Remember to enrol in advance.
Don’t skip the coolest attraction — cable cars. On touristic routes you can see all the local sites and find out what it feels like to be higher than clouds.

Be careful when moving around. Cling to special strands so as not to fall down
