Chapter Thin Cities 2
City overview
The wonderful city of Zenobia is well recognised by anyone who sees it — it has an unprecedented image. All buildings are lifted up by high pilings and connected by ladders and hanging sidewalks.

Houses are made of bamboo and zinc. As you move along sidewalks, you notice numerous balconies, platforms, water barrels, weather vanes, jutting pulleys and many other things any city usually has.
One peculiarity of Zenobia is that it’s uniqueness cannot be historically explained. No local person remembers what made the city be built in such an usual way.

If you are afraid of heights, think twice before visiting Zenobia

Don’t try to go down to where the pilings stand from. Zenobians never come down, so there is no way to go back up.

Note that if you want an excursion, you are free to ask any local person in Zenobia. They're so happy about their city and love it so much that they would love to show you around for free
